This is our fourth retreat theme emerging from the book Choices for Life -The Beatitudes for Daily Living a series of reflections written by Kevin Treston.
As always the Retreats are open to everyone and you would be most welcome. Saturday 4th October 2025 at 9.00am! Bring your two-footed, four-footed, furry, scaly or feathered friends to our ecumenical blessing for health and wellbeing in celebration of World Animal Day and the feast of St. Francis, patron saint of ecology and all animals.

You are warmly invited to attend the World Day of Prayer Mid-Year Morning Tea, where we will begin to focus our prayers on the country of Nigeria and her people. Location: House of Prayer & Spirituality 17 Thomas Street, Townsville Date & Time: 10:00am Join us in hearing from members of the Nigerian community as they share stories and insights about their homeland — a heartfelt introduction to our prayer journey for Nigeria. Note: Parking is limited, so carpooling is encouraged. A donation is appreciated to help cover venue hire. RSVP is essential for catering purposes. Thank you for helping spread the word among your congregations and gatherings. We look forward to sharing this meaningful morning with you. In this Jubilee Year as Pilgrims of Hope, come and rest, pray and reflect at the House of Prayer. We are offering a retreat experience to explore the theme of 'Hope'.
